Kinderwelt Hamburg is seeking a Sozialpädagogischer Assistent (m/w/d) for our bilingual Kita Tieloh in Barmbek, Hamburg. This is a part-time position with a contract until August 2027.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the experience spaces of our Kitas, such as the water play area, studio, movement room, and outdoor areas, for your pedagogical activities.
• Accompany children thoughtfully and involve them in creating a joyful and inspiring daily routine.
• Work according to the concept of Open Pedagogy with mindfulness.
• Collaborate with a bilingual team where both German and English are spoken.
• Work trustingly with parents.
• Document the daily life and development of the children.

• Or the necessary qualifications for a career change.
• Desire to contribute your expertise and develop professionally.
• Approach all people with respect and appreciation.
• Open to the needs of each child and ready to align your pedagogical actions mindfully.
• Professional, capable of criticism, and ready to reflect on your actions in the team.
• Understand your English-speaking colleagues... -...or wish to work as an English-speaking Sozialpädagogischer Assistent (m/w/d), speak English at a native level, and have a good understanding of the German language.
• Desire to take responsibility for the future, hence ecological action is important to you.
• Have a heart for inclusion and wish to develop in the direction of special education in the long term? About the Company

Kinderwelt Hamburg and Flachsland Zukunftsschulen include 24 Kitas, three full-day cooperations with Hamburg primary schools, and the Zukunftsschule Alsterpalais (a primary and secondary school).
