Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and support the background check process for hires, ensuring timely completion and adherence to company policies and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with the internal compliance team to handle CRD-related questions and other compliance inquiries, ensuring prompt and accurate responses.
  • Utilize Case Management and Knowledge Management Systems to log and work through every inquiry.
  • Resolve inquiries in a professional, sensitive, and customer-focused manner in accordance with policies and procedures.
  • Identify opportunities to improve the knowledge base and inform the Communications Director or Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).
  • Complete required reports and data management tasks with high attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Review and recommend changes to current HR operations processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Ensure the protection of privacy and confidentiality of all associate data.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in HR operations, or a related field, with a focus on background check processes preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for engaging with U.S.-based teams.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency with HR Information Systems (Workday), Case Management Systems (Service Now), and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Familiarity with U.S. background check processes and US Credit bureau is a plus.
  • High degree of commitment to maintaining confidentiality and privacy of associate data.
  • Ability to re-prioritize tasks to meet fluctuating workflow demands.
  • Maintains flexibility to accommodate time zone differences and ensure smooth communication with U.S.-based teams.
