About the Position

Łukasiewicz - Przemysłowy Instytut Motoryzacji, a part of the largest research network in Europe, is seeking a Specialist for Vehicle Homologation in the Homologation and Certification Department (K/M). Join our team to contribute to advanced research and development in the automotive sector, supporting the development of modern technologies and transport safety.

Responsibilities

• Participation in vehicle, equipment, and parts research
• Involvement in production compliance checks
• Collaboration with research laboratories to coordinate research for vehicle type approval
• Analysis of technical, homologation, and certification documentation for completeness and compliance
• Customer support regarding homologation offerings
• Evaluation of documentation to recommend compliance decisions
• Support for expanding the scope of the Homologation and Certification Department
• Development of new areas of activity
• Participation in activities to improve the management system of the inspection unit

Requirements

• Higher technical education (minimum engineer), preferred fields: mechanics and machine construction, transport, or related
• Preferred experience in the R&D, homologation, or certification sector
• Good knowledge of vehicle construction
• Ability to read technical documentation
• Proficiency in English enabling fluent communication
• Willingness to travel for work within Poland and the European Union
• Communicativeness and high level of personal culture
• Ability to work in a team
• Goal-oriented mindset
• Category B driving license

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of standards: ISO/IEC 17020, ISO/IEC 17025, ISO/IEC 17021
• Knowledge of Polish Accreditation Center requirements
• Experience in analyzing normative documents in the context of vehicle, equipment, and parts compliance verification
• Experience in production compliance or vehicle type approval control
