About the Position
Łukasiewicz – Górnośląski Instytut Technologiczny is seeking a Technical Specialist (conventional milling/grinding machine) for the Prototypes and Special Devices Department in Gliwice, Poland.
Responsibilities
- Perform milling, grinding, drilling, and assembly work
- Carry out machining of parts in the order and priority set by the supervisor
- Check the quality and dimensions of machined components after work completion
- Select tools and machining parameters for different materials
- Prepare and assemble tools, set up and fix machined parts, and place them on scrap areas
Requirements
- Vocational or technical education
- Ability to operate conventional milling and grinding machines
- Ability to read technical drawings and perform self-inspection using manual measuring instruments
- Ability to work independently
- Responsibility and commitment

About the Company
Łukasiewicz – Górnośląski Instytut Technologiczny provides scientific, advisory, and training services to steel producers, users of steel products, and institutions related to iron and steel metallurgy. It conducts advanced research in smart mobility, aerospace technologies, and hydrogen technologies, including the use of hydrogen in metallurgical processes. The institute also expands its research capabilities in energy through non-destructive testing (NDT) and develops knowledge in welding, supporting the domestic industry by providing high-quality metal and thermoplastic joining services, thermal cutting, and related methods to ensure the high quality and competitiveness of welded products domestically and abroad.
