Responsibilities

• Analyze the security of technical and operational environments
• Describe risks related to IT/OT integration, configuration, communication, and maintaining continuity of operations
• Prepare security requirements for control systems, automation, and test environments
• Select standards and best practices for OT/ICS environments
• Develop test scenarios for communication disruptions, misconfiguration, integration failures, and unauthorized access
• Participate in technical workshops with partners
• Prepare R&D documentation, reports, and presentations of results

Requirements

• Higher education (magisterskie)
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience
• Experience in OT/ICS security and automation, control systems, or IT/OT integration
• Knowledge of environments where continuity of operation is critical
• Familiarity with IEC 62443 or related standards
• Ability to describe risks and security requirements in simple, technical language
• Experience in creating technical documentation

• Participation in R&D projects, technical audits, or security tests
• Experience with monitoring technical environments or anomaly detection
• Expert, publication, or implementation record in the OT/ICS field

About the Company

Łukasiewicz – Instytut Sztucznej Inteligencji i Cyberbezpieczeństwa is conducting a recruitment drive for its R&D projects in the field of cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, technical systems security, and organizational and infrastructure resilience.

Work will involve creating solutions from the early stage: from problem identification, through literature and standard analysis, to prototype, testing, validation, and documentation of results. We are looking for individuals who can work with incomplete requirements, clearly describe their assumptions, and verify if the adopted solution works in practice.

Projects will produce methodologies, risk models, security requirements, system architectures, software prototypes, AI modules, test scenarios, R&D reports, and implementation materials. Some results may be developed in the form of publications, conference presentations, expert opinions, or intellectual property filings.

Curiosity, independence, and a desire for scientific development are essential. We value individuals who can test new approaches, describe results, and draw practical conclusions from them.
