Job Description:

Sieć Badawcza Łukasiewicz – Instytut Elektrotechniki is located at ul. Narwicka 1, 80-557 Gdańsk. The position is for a Senior Specialist in the Intelligent Infrastructure Technology Group (GTI) in the support division. There is 1 open position for full-time employment. The workplace is well-lit with natural and artificial light. Office work involves using a computer screen for more than 4 hours a day, working in the specified region.

Daily Tasks

• Simulation, design, operation, and research of energy-electronic systems
• Preparation of technical documentation, design of control systems

Requirements

Required

• Higher education, vocational education, and 2 years of professional experience or vocational education and 2 years of professional experience
• Knowledge of the construction and operation of energy-electronic power conversion systems (DC/DC, AC/DC)
• Experience in simulating energy-electronic systems (e.g., PSIM, MATLAB/Simulink)
• Ability to operate laboratory equipment (oscilloscope, multimeter, DC and AC power supplies, etc.)
• Ability to use CAD software (e.g., Solidworks, Autocad)
• Ability to program microcontrollers
• Proficient use of the Office suite

Nice to Have

• Higher education (master's degree in electrical engineering, electronics, automation, or related fields)
• Ability to design PCB circuits (e.g., KiCAD, Altium Designer)
• Knowledge of automatic control system design
• Experience in designing energy-electronic systems
• Electrical qualifications – Exploitation up to 1 kV
• Knowledge of English (minimum level B2)
