SPS-PLC-Programmierer (m/w/d)

About the Position

BUDERUS Schleiftechnik GmbH, an internationally successful and innovative mechanical engineering company in the field of metal cutting, is seeking a skilled SPS-PLC-Programmierer (m/w/d) to join our team in Aßlar, Germany. Responsibilities

• Creation and Maintenance of SPS Programs: Develop and maintain SPS programs for Siemens SIMATIC S7-300 or S7-1500 using Step7 and TIA V15 – V18.
• Internal Interface Coordination: Create and coordinate internal interfaces for Siemens SINUMERIK 840 D SL or Sinumerik One NCU.
• Interface Management: Develop and coordinate internal and external interfaces for automation stations.
• HMI Configuration: Configure HMI user interfaces (Siemens HMI PRO) and Sinumerik Easy Screen.
• Customer Service: Provide software commissioning, troubleshooting, and process optimization at customer sites.
• Customer Training: Conduct customer training sessions, possibly in English.
• Support Roles: Assist installers, technologists, and commissioning engineers.
• Collaboration: Work with adjacent departments (commissioning, electrical design, mechanical design, etc.).
• NC Programming: NC programming skills for program adjustments are desirable.
• Siemens Knowledge: Knowledge of Siemens Sinumerik and Simatic is advantageous.

Requirements

• Professional Background:
  • State-certified technician (m/w/d) in automation technology or similar qualifications.
  • Training as an electrician or mechatronics technician with professional experience.
• Programming Skills:
  • Siemens Step-7, ideally TIA-Portal V15 - V18 (FUB, AWL, and SCL) is required.
• IT Skills:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Teams, and EPlan P8.
• Work Attributes:
  • Independent and goal-oriented work style with teamwork capabilities.
  • Decisiveness and flexibility.
  • Good language skills in German and English (written and spoken).
  • Willingness to travel.
