Squad Master & Customer Journey Expert Current Accounts

You will be at the helm of reinventing our current account packs, a flagship project that is redefining how we create value for our customers and for the bank. Think of it as the sweet spot where customer experience, market differentiation, and recurrent fee income meet, and you will be steering the ship.

Responsibilities

  • Manage your squad’s backlog. Take the lead in Feature intakes, Daily Stand Up, Sprint Plannings, communication to stakeholders, in and outbound QBR requests, etc.
  • Deep dive in content. Master the vast world of Current Accounts and become ING’s next expert.
  • You are in the driver seat of shaping your product. The PO of the Current Accounts squad always places the customer at heart.
  • Maintain within ING’s Risk Appetite.
  • Your main focus will be on Defining the Business Requirements for the New Account Packs, supporting the Discovery & Delivery Phase, and closely collaborating with internal stakeholders (i.e., Risk, Compliance, Legal, UX, etc.).

  • Be Proactive. The Product Owner is key in managing the expectations from the squad. Both on the short and long term. Being a step ahead will differentiate yourself from other Product Owners.
  • As a Product Owner, communicating within the team is as important as communicating outside of the team. Being clear and concise, with a strong message and confident voice is something we value.
  • The Current Account Domain has been around for decades. There is a lot to learn and discover. Having a curious mind to look for details is key in succeeding.
  • Taking informed decisions will be part of your day-to-day job. Having an analytical mindset will influence your stakeholders in steering your product in the right direction.
  • ‘You are the CEO of the Current Accounts domain’. Take the lead in making sure the correct features are added which have the highest added value. Ownership and accountability are key competences.

The Team

The Current Accounts squad consists of product CJE’s. A mix of experienced colleagues and professionals, 50% man, 50% woman. The team is the owner of all business processes of the Current Accounts. Ensuring that changes on all our ING Current Accounts are validated, risk approved, and having the best customer experience at hand. Also, we are working very closely with the Discovery squads and the IT colleagues in an iterative and collaborative way.
