About the Position
We are seeking a Sr. Analyst, Cyber Security & Forensics to join our team in Singapore. This role is fully remote and requires 5-7 years of experience in vulnerability assessments and penetration tests.
Responsibilities
- Perform Vulnerability Assessments and Penetration Tests (VAPT) for Network Devices, Hosts, Web Servers, Web Applications, Databases, and Mobile platforms.
- Provide VAPT services using tools including but not limited to Kali Linux, Nmap, Nessus, Metasploit, Burp Suite, Openvas, Acunetix, and Qualys.
- Prepare reports containing VAPT findings with recommendations towards improvement opportunities and conduct closing meetings to review issues with the client.
- Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals, and deliverables.
- Plan and schedule project timelines and manage project resource allocation.
- Assure quality and constantly monitor and report on progress of the project to all stakeholders.
- Meet system security financial objectives by forecasting requirements; prepare an annual budget; schedule expenditures; analyze variances; initiate corrective actions.
- Create and maintain the Company's Business Continuity Plan and Disaster Recovery Plan, where appropriate.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the IT security industry including awareness of new or revised security solutions, improved security processes, and the development of new attacks and threat vectors.
- Select and acquire additional security solutions or enhancements to existing security solutions to improve overall enterprise security as per the enterprise's existing procurement processes.
- Oversee the deployment, integration, and initial configuration of all new security solutions and of any enhancements to existing security solutions in accordance with standard best operating procedures generically and the enterprise's security documents specifically.
- Protect system by defining access privileges, control structures, and resources.
- Recognize problems by identifying abnormalities, reporting violations.
- Implement security improvements by assessing current situation, evaluating trends, anticipating requirements.
- Determine security violations and inefficiencies by conducting periodic audits.
- Upgrade system by implementing and maintaining security controls.
- Keep users informed by preparing performance reports and communicating system status.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Any other tasks assigned by the Management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or in a related field.
- Minimum 5 - 7 years of experience.
- Strong IT skills and knowledge including hardware, software, and networks.
- Meticulous attention to details.
- Able to seek out vulnerabilities in IT infrastructures.
Tools & Technology
- Familiarity with NGFWs firewalls.
- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Intune.
- Hands-on experience with Nessus and OpenVAS.
- Solid understanding of Kali Linux.
- Splunk, Metasploit, Burp Suite, Nmap.
- OpenSSL.
- Clear understanding and policy creation for Azure Active Directory.
- Solid foundation in SAST, DAST.
