About the Position

We are seeking a Sr. Consultant with Utility Billing experience to support daily billing operations and resolve complex billing issues in Miami Gardens, USA.

Responsibilities

  • Billing Operations Support: Plan and manage assigned billing activities; complete analysis and resolution tasks within established timeframes.
  • Daily Coordination: Participate in team meetings and track work progress using tools such as JIRA, Qmetry, Teams, and Outlook while coordinating with IT, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
  • Technical Analysis: Provide functional expertise on billing systems to ensure timely and effective issue resolution within SAP and CIS environments.
  • Problem-Solving: Apply analytical skills to decompose complex billing discrepancies into manageable components, utilizing Excel for data validation.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for billing processes, system procedures, and operational workflows.
  • AI & Data Enablement: Utilize AI-powered tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, data analysis tools) to support billing analysis, data validation, and issue troubleshooting.
  • AI Integration & Collaboration: Collaborate with IT and cross-functional teams to incorporate AI-driven solutions into billing workflows and system enhancements.

Requirements

  • Key Skillsets: Energy and Utility domain, SAP ISU with Utility billing experience (Meter to Cash process).
  • Travel: Willingness to travel extensively as client needs require.

Education & Work Authorization

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or master’s strongly preferred.
  • Work Authorization: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future.

Salary & Compensation

  • Salary: The annual salary for this position is between $86,500.00 – $101,500.00 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
  • Incentives: Eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, subject to applicable plan terms.
