About the Position
Our SBU Connectivity is seeking a skilled and experienced Sr. Embedded Software Test Engineer with Automotive domain knowledge including Advanced Networking, Antenna, Autosar, Bluetooth, BSP and Drivers, Calls, Connectivity, Diagnostics, Ethernet AVB, IOC, Linux, Positioning, System-level functionalities, serial communication protocols, and Telephony.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for testing, validating, and debugging software for embedded systems across multiple domains. This role requires a good understanding of embedded architecture, domain-specific requirements, and end-to-end software interactions to find integration issues in early stages of software development.
Responsibilities
- Analyze the software architecture and design specifications
- Design verification criteria
- Design, develop, and execute test cases at each architectural layer
- Develop and maintain automated test solutions
- Establish and report test coverage and traceability to design specifications
- Document test cases and report defects
- Support root cause analysis
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in embedded software development.
- Proven experience in developing/testing Automotive domains
- Good debugging and troubleshooting capabilities.
- Analytical thinking and structured problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively within cross-functional, collaborative team.
Nice to Have
- Practical experience with modeling and design tools such as Enterprise Architect.
