About the Position
We are seeking a Sr Engineering Technician- Structural (Offshore E3D) with 11+ years of experience to join our engineering team in Vikhroli, West Mumbai, MH, India. This role ensures quality and consistency in technical design, applying advanced technical expertise to address complex design challenges.
Responsibilities
- Communicate and set appropriate design and graphic standards.
- Review project requirements and ensure the correct format and contents of deliverables.
- Promote quality within the project/group/section and ensure compliance with codes and standards.
- Apply basic engineering principles and established design practices in developing complex design concepts and deliverables.
- Coordinate with other design group personnel to review and exchange project information necessary for design development.
- Assist with identifying key client interests and drivers, and communicate these to the project team.
- Assist discipline or department management in developing and communicating appropriate design standards and process improvement activities.
Requirements
- Preferred Qualifications: Associate Degree in Drafting or an Engineering Design Related Technology preferred. Bachelor Degree in an Engineering Design Related Technology (preferred).
- Minimum Qualifications: Typically a minimum of 11 years related work experience.
- Skills: CAD, BIM, 3D modeling.
Management Responsibilities
- Provide consultation, training, and oversight to other engineering technicians to ensure quality, consistency, and adherence to project standards.
- Recognized for expertise in one or more areas and may be assigned special assignments depending on technical expertise.
