About the Position

Senior Financial Analyst

Location: Mountain View, California, United States

Employment Type: Full-Time

Responsibilities

  • Partner with leadership to own monthly, quarterly, and annual FP&A processes, including forecasting, reporting, and variance analysis.
  • Translate data and analyses into actionable insights to support day-to-day and strategic decisions.
  • Build and maintain financial models to evaluate performance, support scenario planning, and guide investment decisions.
  • Lead ROI and business case analyses for key initiatives to ensure effective capital allocation.
  • Establish financial discipline by reviewing and approving headcount and spend requests, ensuring alignment with budgets and strategic priorities.
  • Prepare clear, concise financial materials for executive leadership, Board of Directors, and external stakeholders.
  • Drive process improvements and help scale finance and cross-functional operations.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience as a Financial Analyst within a SaaS or Software company.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and a natural curiosity.
  • Ability to independently drive projects with a high attention to detail.
  • Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Budgeting system experience (Anaplan is a plus).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business; MBA preferred.
  • Experience with SaaS business models beneficial.

Compensation

  • Base Pay Range: $115k - $135k annually
  • Currency: USD
  • Period: Year
