About the Position

We are currently seeking a Sr. Inspector for Air Cooled Condenser (ACC) and Mechanical Equipment to join our team in BINTULU, MY. This role involves ensuring compliance with installation instructions, codes, and standards, and providing technical guidance to Quality Inspectors and other Quality Specialists.
Responsibilities
- Provide oversight and ensure ACC installation at the site is in accordance with the approved installation instructions, codes, and standards.
- Provide oversight of mechanical equipment at the site in accordance with the approved installation instructions, codes, and standards.
- Conduct quality inspections on materials and work.
- Witness quality tests.
- Assist engineers in reviewing method statements, HIRARC, ITP, and other relevant construction documentation.
- Provide necessary technical input/advice/recommendation on construction issues such as design changes, non-conformance, deviations, sequence of work, subsurface conditions, material change, etc.
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years of working experience in power plant and/or Oil & Gas projects.
- Minimum of 3 projects with ACC performing the Key Role – preferably with at least one combined cycle power plant project.
- Working knowledge of HSSE standards/regulations and site control measures.
- Good interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Able to communicate in English and Mandarin is advantageous.
