About the Position
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our Access Security team at Veza, a pioneer in identity security and part of the ServiceNow family. This role is pivotal in enhancing identity security with AI and full stack expertise, focusing on developing and optimizing access intelligence, risk detection, and remediation workflows.
Responsibilities
- Partner with product, design, and engineering leaders to define product experiences.
- Champion the responsible use of AI frameworks and agents.
- Explore emerging technologies in identity and access management.
- Participate in all technical aspects of team deliverables.
- Design and build intuitive, performant user interfaces.
- Adopt and improve engineering practices.
- Own end-to-end feature delivery.
Requirements
- Applied AI experience: Practical experience integrating AI, ML, or LLM capabilities.
- Experience: 8+ years in full stack software development.
- Languages and architecture: Strong proficiency in Go, JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, or Java.
- Frontend engineering: Apply modern practices including component design, state management, accessibility, observability, and performance optimization.
- Data and APIs: Expertise in designing and implementing RESTful, GraphQL, and gRPC APIs, with proficiency in data modeling, SQL, and relational databases such as PostgreSQL.
- Systems Engineering: Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, design patterns, and performance optimization.
- Leadership: Proven track record of delivering complete end-to-end solutions.
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Soft Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Nice to Have
- Domain Expertise: Prior experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM), IGA, and PAM solutions.
- Cloud & DevOps: Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Artificial Intelligence: Hands-on familiarity with cutting-edge LLM frameworks and provider libraries like OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google.
- Quality & Testing: Familiarity with automated testing frameworks and integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Mindset: Strong sense of ownership and customer focus, with a passion for user experience and staying current with emerging technologies and industry trends.
