Responsibilities

  • Support the execution of Glovo’s public relations and communication activities in Romania and Moldova
  • Contribute to the creation and implementation of PR calendars and key campaigns across different types of media (general interest, trade, lifestyle)
  • Draft and distribute press materials, articles, Q&As, and media statements in coordination with PR Lead and agencies
  • Research and prepare briefing materials, draft talking points, and media comments for company spokespeople
  • Monitor and analyze media coverage and reporting on sentiment, tone of voice, and share of voice
  • Build and nurture relationships with journalists
  • Support issues management by monitoring online conversations and flagging potential risks to the team
  • Coordinate with PR agency on day-to-day communications tasks and content delivery
  • Ensure alignment with the global communications team for localization of campaigns

Requirements

  • Academic background in Communication, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or related field
  • Extensive experience in PR, media relations communications (in-house or agency), with good knowledge of the Romanian media landscape. Experience in consumer or lifestyle brands is a plus
  • End-to-end experience in handling communication strategies in corporate and consumer setups
  • Proactive and detail-oriented mindset, with the ability to manage multiple tasks, adapt to fast-paced environments, and deliver high-quality output
  • Collaborative approach and comfort working cross-functionally and with external agencies
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Romanian and English
