Sr. Technical Program Manager, Ads Delivery Infrastructure

About the Position

We are looking for a Sr. Technical Program Manager, Ads Delivery Infrastructure to join our team in San Francisco or remotely. This role is part of the Engineering department and is a full-time position.

Responsibilities

• Lead or support programs that scale Pinterest's Shopping and Ads catalog, indexing, and retrieval systems to handle billions of items.
• Drive cross-team execution on infrastructure modernization initiatives, including migrations to next-generation compute and storage platforms.
• Build and maintain program dashboards and reporting that give engineering and business stakeholders a clear, current view of progress, risk, and decisions.
• Partner with engineering on reliability and incident-response initiatives for revenue-critical serving systems.
• Communicate technical tradeoffs and program status clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Use GenAI as the default operating model for EP PgM execution.
• Prototype solutions to augment decisions through data or simplify processes using AI coding assistants.
• Follow Pinterest AI guidance for risk, governance, and safety-by-design.

Requirements

• 5+ years of TPM/Product Ownership experience leading complex, cross-functional technical programs.
• Solid understanding of the principles behind large-scale serving, indexing, or retrieval systems.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience building dashboards, interpreting data, and using insights to drive decisions.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, with a track record of partnering with senior engineering and business stakeholders.
• Comfort with ambiguity and shifting priorities across a fast-moving, multi-workstream roadmap.
• Experience with ads, monetization, or data infrastructure is a plus; willingness to learn and grow across domains is essential.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related field or equivalent experience.
