About the Position
Sr. Workplace Coordinator
We are seeking a dedicated Sr. Workplace Coordinator to join our team at Perplexity in New York City. This role is pivotal in ensuring smooth office operations and cultivating a positive workplace environment.
Responsibilities
- Office Operations: Oversee the day-to-day reception, operations, vendor relationships, employee health & safety compliance, and facility maintenance.
- Office Management: Open/close the office daily, manage inventory, and ensure the office is tidy and organized.
- Event Coordination: Produce thoughtful and inclusive office experiences and events, collaborating with the Workplace team.
- Safety Preparedness: Organize, monitor, and communicate facility and building safety preparedness to employees.
- Vendor Management: Build relationships with external parties and building management, ensuring quality control and vendor accountability.
- Support Tasks: Assist with answering workplace tickets, coordinating design and construction projects, and managing ad-hoc projects.
Requirements
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience working in facilities, workplace operations, office administration, or hospitality fields.
- Skills: Proficiency with G-Suite Products or the ability to learn software quickly.
- Attributes: Excellent organization, planning, and prioritization skills. Exceptionally strong ownership and can-do attitude.
- Communication: Excellent written, non-verbal, and verbal communication skills.
- Passion: Genuine passion for supporting others and a contagiously positive attitude.
Nice to Have
- Secondary Skills: Strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail.

- Compensation: $90K - $110K per year.
