Sr.Engineer/Asst.Manager_Design Engineer_ Mechanical for New Braking System
Bosch Chassis Systems India Ltd, a 100% Bosch owned company in India, is seeking a Sr.Engineer/Asst.Manager_Design Engineer_ Mechanical for New Braking System in Pune, Maharashtra. The company designs and develops world-class Hydraulic Brake System Parts, including Boosters, Tandem master cylinders, and Proportionating valves. The Control Division focuses on innovative components, systems, and functions in vehicle safety, vehicle dynamics, and driver assistance like ABS and ESP. RBIC is expanding its portfolio in passive safety and other driver assistance products.
Responsibilities
- Design of assembly and components for New Braking System products.
- Design of assemblies and components related to New Braking Systems (Reservoir, Pedal interface parts, AT-Container BOM, etc.).
- In-depth understanding of the technical requirements for design and development of child parts and assemblies.
- Conduct SE reviews (with supplier and plant), understand requirements, and incorporate them into the design.
- Perform Finite Element Analysis tasks, understand customer requirements, prepare FEA approach documents, check the quality of FEA analysis, solve errors during analysis, and analyze and interpret FEA results.
- Prepare and release 3D-CAD data and drawings.
- Prepare and release Bill Of Materials - SAP activity.
- Apply Geometrical Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Facilitate and support implementation of safer new generation systems for new acquisitions/business (NBS – IPB 2.0, iB-Gen2.1).
- Competency Development – Hydraulics & Mechanics Engineering NBS (IPB, iB) products.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering.
- Strong engineering fundamentals (Engineering mechanics, Strength of Materials).
- Design calculations (related to stress, etc.), knowledge of tolerance stack-up analysis.
- Knowledge of DFMEA.
- Experience: ~2 years of experience in product component design, FEA, and 3D modeling using UG NX+ Teamcenter software.
