About the Position

We are seeking a Senior SAP EWM-MFS Consultant with 8+ years of SAP experience, including 5+ years in EWM, to lead end-to-end implementations and design high-availability architectures.

Responsibilities

• Solution Design & Implementation: Lead end-to-end implementations of EWM with Material Flow System (MFS) integration.
• Design and Configure:
  • Warehouse structure and activity areas
  • Storage control and process-oriented storage control (POSC)
  • Layout-oriented storage control (LOSC)
  • Handling Unit (HU) management
  • Wave management and labor management
• Configure and Support EWM MFS Components:
  • Communication channels (TCP/IP, PLC interfaces)
  • Telegram configuration and queue management
  • Routing and conveyor logic
  • Resource management for automated equipment
• Design High-Availability and Performance-Optimized MFS Architecture.
• Integrate MFS with ASRS (Automate Storage & Retrieval Systems), Conveyor and sortation system, and robotics.
• Provide solution documentation including functional specifications and test scripts.
• Open to travel.

Requirements

• Educational Qualification: Not specified.
• Experience: 8+ years of SAP experience with at least 5+ years in EWM.
• Mandatory/Requires Skills:
  • Minimum 2–3 full lifecycle EWM MFS integrations.
  • Strong configuration expertise in core EWM processes (inbound, outbound, internal movements).
  • Strong expertise in Storage control (POSC/LOSC), HU management, Queue and resource management, RF framework.
  • Strong client-facing and workshop facilitation skills.
• Preferred Skills:
  • Experience in highly automated distribution centers (high-bay warehouses, pharma, chemical, retail, automotive).
  • Knowledge of ABAP debugging for MFS troubleshooting.
  • Exposure to SAP Event Management or real-time tracking integrations.
  • SAP EWM certification.
  • Experience with non-SAP WCS/WMS integration.
  • German language is an added advantage.
