About the Position
SSIS Lead
We are seeking an experienced SSIS Lead with over 6 years of experience in developing scalable solutions using Microsoft SQL Server, SQL Server Integration Services, SQL Server Reporting Services, and Power BI. This role is based in Mississauga, ON with a hybrid work model.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable, maintainable, and extensible solutions.
- Provide technical knowledge and guidance on Microsoft SQL Server, SQL Server Integration Services, SQL Server Reporting Services, and Power BI.
- Provide guidance on best practices, design patterns, and troubleshooting.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality, consistent code.
- Collaborate with business and engineering teams to uncover opportunities for process and application improvement.
- Assist in resolving technical challenges.
- Design and improve testing strategies (unit, integration, regression, performance).
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to present findings and recommendations in a clear and concise manner.
- Contribute to the evolution of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Requirements
- 6+ years of professional experience in developing complex scalable solutions.
- Technical knowledge on Microsoft SQL Server, SQL Server Integration Services, SQL Server Reporting Services, and Power BI.
- Experience working in Agile environments.
- Familiarity with cloud development/deployment (AWS preferred).
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps and Microsoft Teams.
- Experience with AWS Airflow.
- Knowledge of PostgreSQL is preferred.
