About the Position

Join Quadient as a Staff Accountant in Milford, USA. Manage month-end close, intercompany accounting, and support internal/external audits.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for month-end close including preparing journal entries
• Timely reconciliation of intercompany balances with all entities, researching and resolving any variances
• Responsible for intercompany settlements, calculating and confirming settlement amounts
• Creating account reconciliations and analysis
• Preparing ad hoc reports for, and responding to questions from, management and auditors (internal and external)
• Daily cash reporting
• Backup for Vendor and customer refunds system setup
• Dealer inquiries

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• Oracle experience preferred
• 3 years’ experience in Accounting Month-end close and account reconciliation
• Experience with all facets of intercompany accounting
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work on special projects involving general ledger, taking the role of project lead when required
• Strong understanding of GAAP
• Ability to work independently and take initiative
• Adaptable to changing priorities and ability to manage multiple tasks
• Excellent analytical and communication skills
• Excellent Excel skills, experience with ERP systems
