We are looking for a Staff Architect (Senior Solution Architect) to join us as part of our team.

Responsibilities

• Translate high-level business initiatives into concrete architectural vision and technical standards, collaborating closely with Product and Engineering to design cost-efficient, scalable solutions that maximize customer value
• Devise technology and architecture solutions that propel engineering excellence across the organization, simplify otherwise complex problems, and address the “-ilities” (portability, usability, maintainability, scalability, recoverability, availability, extensibility, and security)
• Author AI-ready solution specifications as a part of the design lifecycle, actively participating in AI-enabled workflows and continuously integrating modern tools into the architectural process
• Drive system evolution toward well-defined target and transition (interim) states, utilizing robust system diagrams to convey clear, actionable execution paths for engineering teams
• Describe technical context in intuitive ways for different audiences, adapting communication from highly technical deep dives with engineers to non-technical dialogue with senior stakeholders
• Drive system innovation by leveraging AI as a core enabler, prototyping high-impact capabilities to prove technical feasibility and steer future-ready architectural directions
• Learn constantly, including in available cloud managed services (PaaS/SaaS/IaaS), libraries, frameworks and platforms (commercial and open source)
• Propose pragmatic, organized, and balanced technical decisions in areas such as build vs. buy, now vs. later, and refactor vs. rebuild
• Provide and oversee high-level estimates for scoping non-trivial features
• Coach engineering teams, grow their level constantly and enable them to make high-quality autonomous decisions in the software design

Requirements

• 7+ years of hands-on software development experience with strong core engineering principles
• 3+ years of experience in designing complex software architectures for the multi-stack environment (e.g., Java, C#, Python microservices, data analytical systems, AWS/GCP/Azure)
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, acting as a trusted partner to both Product Management and Engineering – capable of articulating technical vision clearly to any audience while actively listening and synthesizing feedback to refine solutions
• A strong, disciplined approach to architectural decision-making, systematically evaluating technical trade-offs, risks, and technology pros/cons to deliver resilient, cost-effective platform solutions
• Proven capability to manage stakeholder expectations, build cross-organizational alignment, and articulate technical trade-offs to business and engineering leadership
• Practical experience designing data solutions across relational databases, distributed caching, replication, and enterprise search engines (e.g., PostgreSQL, MS SQL, Redis, Elasticsearch)
• Experience architecting on major cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, or Azure) using containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
• Prior experience in pre-sales, technical discovery, or solution consulting is considered a strong plus
• Hands-on experience driving AI enablement initiatives and architecting agentic AI systems (e.g., multi-agent frameworks, LLM orchestration) is considered a strong plus
• English - Upper Intermediate or higher; Ukrainian - fluent.
