About the Position
We are seeking a skilled Staff Engineer to join our Digital Product Engineering team in the South Asia region. As a Data Engineer with 5+ years of experience, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing complex data pipelines, ETL processes, and data integrations.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement complex data pipelines, ETL processes, and data integrations.
- Work directly with developers in an embedded DBA/DBM role.
- Utilize your in-depth knowledge of Snowflake architecture, features, and best practices for performance optimization.
- Leverage your proficiency in SQL, Python, and other relevant programming languages for data manipulation and transformation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex data engineering challenges.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate clearly.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master's degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in data engineering.
- 2+ years commercial experience with MSSQL.
- 1+ years commercial experience with major cloud providers, preferably AWS.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Data engineering certifications are a plus.
