About the Position
Staff IT Analyst - Supply Chain Demand Planning System Development & System Operation
Renesas has repeatedly conducted M&As with various companies, and we are working on a big project to integrate the systems with similar functions used by each excompany prior to the M&As into a single common system. We need to be able to smoothly deploy future M&As.
This role involves supporting a series of tasks such as system requirement definition, development, testing, user testing, and system maintenance and operation for the demand planning management system.
Responsibilities
- Project Management: Manage the project for the demand planning management system, including requirement definition, development, testing, and user testing.
- Requirement Definition: Coordinate with business members of the Renesas Group managing forecast (mainly US members) and summarize the system requirements.
- Development and Testing: Communicate system requirements to the development vendor, conduct system review and user acceptance testing after development is completed, and perform technical work with the development vendor (SQL, Java, Wijimo, etc.).
- System Maintenance & Operations: Address improvement requests from business users, conduct improvement activities for stable system operation, and develop and operate in collaboration with the SCM Planning System.
Requirements
- Strong communication skills (e.g., asking questions without hesitation, regularly reporting and consulting with superiors).
- Experience in demand management to production planning for a few or more years.
- Experience with SQL DB operations and web system development languages (Java, etc.).
- Intermediate level (or more) of Business English (ability to participate in discussions in English).
