Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize workflows in the manufacturing process
- Create and maintain production master data in the ERP system (e.g., bills of materials, work plans, operations)
- Actively contribute to the analysis and optimization of production costs
- Create purchasing specifications in close coordination with Engineering, Sales, and Purchasing
- Participate in production planning meetings and ensure a smooth flow of information
- Serve as the point of contact for customers during the manufacturing process and coordinate communication with Sales
- Prepare quotes and cost estimates based on customer specifications
- Implement and oversee tool management
- Ensure the availability of materials, tools, and fixtures
- Ensure compliance with quality requirements (e.g., in accordance with EN 9100)
- Handle scheduling for quality assurance
- Manage the work planning and purchasing departments when needed
Requirements
- Work in a structured, meticulous, and independent manner
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and production workflows
- Analyze interrelationships and use them to derive cost-effective and process-oriented measures
- Communicate clearly and confidently with internal stakeholders as well as with customers
- Take the initiative and actively drive projects forward
- Be a team player and maintain a clear overview even when dealing with complex tasks
Skills
- Technical training, ideally with additional training to become a master craftsman or technician
- Experience in the areas of work planning, manufacturing, purchasing, and quality assurance
- Proficient in using ERP systems and managing production master data
- Work with precision and have a strong commitment to quality when handling technical products
