About the Position
Staff Ruby on Rails (RoR) Engineer – Remote / Hybrid
The product helps businesses detect and prevent real-time threats, while our engineering team handles billions of API requests monthly with strict performance requirements. We put a strong emphasis on scalability, developer experience, and high-quality design.

Responsibilities
- Build and scale the company’s core backend platform using Ruby on Rails 7 and AWS Cloud
- Design and optimize high-performance APIs with a focus on developer experience
- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and designers on architecture, feedback, and code reviews
- Ship features iteratively, based on customer and stakeholder feedback
- Take technical ownership and influence the future direction of the product
Requirements
- 6+ years of software engineering experience (SaaS or startup environment)
- Proven expertise in Ruby on Rails (Node.js knowledge is a plus)
- Strong background in building scalable applications & APIs
- Experience with ClickHouse, PostgreSQL, or other high-performance databases
- Excellent command of English (written & spoken) for team collaboration and client interaction
