About the Position
Join Our Back-end Engineering Team! We are looking for a Staff Software Engineer to set the technical direction for our telecommunications platform. You will own the architecture of how calls enter, route through, and leave our system: SIP signaling at the edge (Kamailio / OpenSIPS), media and call control (FreeSWITCH, Asterisk, RTPengine), the Python services that bridge voice with our AI inference pipeline, and the carrier-facing integrations underneath.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement the architecture for telecommunications platform
- Manage SIP signaling at the edge using Kamailio / OpenSIPS
- Handle media and call control with FreeSWITCH, Asterisk, and RTPengine
- Develop Python services that integrate voice with our AI inference pipeline
- Ensure carrier-facing integrations are robust and efficient
Requirements
- Senior experience in backend development
- Proficiency in Python
- Experience with VoIP technologies
- Leadership skills to set technical direction
