About the Position
Aircall is a unicorn, AI-powered customer communications platform used by 22,000+ companies worldwide to drive revenue, resolve issues faster, and scale customer-facing teams. We’re redefining customer communications by bringing voice, SMS, WhatsApp, and AI together into one seamless workspace.
We are looking for a Staff Software Engineer, AI to join our team in the San Francisco Office. As a backend/AI engineer at Aircall, you will be working on developing scalable AI applications to be used by our 20,000+ customers. You will be a part of the AI Products Platform team, working on areas like agent context, agent infrastructure, MCP, agent memory, etc.
Responsibilities
- Develop scalable AI applications
- Collaborate with backend, frontend, and infrastructure engineers
- Participate in requirements analysis and design of systems
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in back-end development with Python, Typescript/Node.js, or Java
- Focus on delivering for security, scalability, availability, and performance
- Knowledge of AI and experience in AI is a strong plus
- Security is at the forefront of your mind in everything that you do
Nice to Have
- Experience with AWS in a production environment
