About the Position
Join Google's Search team as a Staff UX Quantitative Researcher to drive impact on billions of users globally. As a Quantitative User Experience Researcher (Quant UXR), you will collaborate closely with Engineering and Product Management to create industry-leading, innovative products. You will investigate user behavior through empirical methods like logs analysis, survey research, and regression to uncover actionable insights.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience working with SQL in applied research settings for consumer products.
- Experience in programming languages used for data manipulation and computational statistics (e.g., Python, R, MATLAB, C++, Java, or Go).
- Master's degree or PhD in human-computer interaction, cognitive science, statistics, psychology, anthropology, or a related field.
- 8 years of experience conducting UX research on products.
- 7 years of experience working with executive leadership.
- 5 years of experience managing projects, and working in a changing organization.
Nice to Have
- Experience in behavioral research design.
- Statistical proficiency.
- Programming skills.
We Offer
- Competitive salary range: $189,000-$274,000 + bonus + equity + benefits.

- Paid Time Off: 20 days of vacation per year, accruing at a rate of 6.15 hours per pay period for the first five years of employment.
- Sick Time: 40 hours/year (increased to 69 hours/year for Seattle) including 5 discretionary sick days per instance.
- Maternity Leave (Short-Term Disability + Baby Bonding): 28-30 weeks.
- Baby Bonding Leave: 18 weeks.
- Holidays: 13 paid days per year.
