About the Position
Context
In an environment marked by rapid transformations, increasing customer expectations, and continuous pressure on performance, companies must have a clear and shared vision of their Supply Chain operations.
Supply Chain diagnostics help identify strengths, weaknesses, and improvement opportunities across the entire value chain. However, their implementation can require significant resources and lengthy analyses before action priorities emerge.
The implementation of a flash audit methodology aims to structure a rapid, homogeneous, and replicable approach to analyzing the main Supply Chain macro-processes, mapping processes, identifying pain points, and highlighting associated transformation projects.
How to build a 360-degree Supply Chain audit methodology that is structured, fast, and actionable, enabling the identification of the main issues and prioritization of transformation projects?
Objective of the Internship
Supervised by an experienced project manager, you will have the opportunity to contribute to a methodological and operational subject at the heart of current supply chain issues.
Your internship will focus on two main areas:
-
A foundational study to define the framework of a 360-degree Supply Chain audit: identifying macro-processes, defining the scope of analysis, constructing an evaluation grid, and formalizing the methods for collecting and analyzing information.
-
The design of a flash audit approach to map processes, identify pain points, and highlight associated transformation projects, to provide an approach that can be directly mobilized for Wavestone clients.
This study will result in the formalization of a 360-degree Supply Chain audit methodology, accompanied by tools and deliverables that can be reused by Wavestone teams and valued by our clients.
Active participation in client operational missions, within project teams, allowing you to discover the reality of the consulting profession and develop key skills expected: analysis, synthesis, understanding business issues, client relations, and ability to work in a team.
In parallel, you will be fully integrated into the firm's internal life and can contribute, according to your interests, to:
-
The animation and development of Supply Chain expertise offerings;
-
The writing of content for our blogs and communication materials;
-
The development of our internal assets (Shake'Up, CréaDesk, Research & Knowledge Center);
-
Recruitment, school relations, and training initiatives;
-
The implementation of Wavestone's CSR strategy.
Responsibilities
The intern will actively contribute to enriching Wavestone's Supply Chain expertise through the development of a 360-degree Supply Chain audit methodology, by performing the following tasks:
-
Define Supply Chain macro-processes: structure an end-to-end vision of the main areas to be covered by the audit.
-
Define the audit scope: specify the dimensions, activities, levels of analysis, and stakeholders to be integrated according to the company's context.
-
Construct an analysis grid: formalize the criteria, questions, evidence elements, and evaluation levels to conduct the diagnosis.
-
Map processes: define an approach to represent existing processes, their interactions, and associated responsibilities.
-
Identify pain points: structure the collection and analysis of irritants, dysfunctions, risks, and improvement opportunities.
-
Highlight associated projects: translate findings into transformation initiatives and propose prioritization principles.
-
Formalize the audit approach: describe the steps, tools, roles, and deliverables necessary for conducting a 360-degree Supply Chain flash audit.
-
Test and adjust the methodology: apply all or part of the approach to a use case to evaluate its clarity, completeness, and actionability.
-
Produce a synthesis of learnings: formalize recommendations for use and avenues for methodology evolution.
Qualifications
Student in a top engineering, management school, or university, you are attracted to consulting and have a strong interest in digital transformation issues within leading companies in their sector.
You wish to develop skills related to the consulting profession and organizational transformation issues.
Your strengths:
-
Curiosity, sharp analytical mind, and ability to grasp new topics;
-
Customer orientation, excellent interpersonal skills, and a sense of service;
-
Taste for challenge and results;
-
Attraction to entrepreneurship and innovation.
Moreover, you want to be an actor in an ambitious company project in full growth in France and internationally. You want to put your enthusiasm at the service of a firm that will offer you a quick opportunity to take on responsibilities.
