About the Position

Mia-Discovery is an innovative platform dedicated to the mapping and advanced analysis of information systems. It helps companies understand their existing applications and accelerates their modernization, migration, or regulatory compliance projects.

Our R&D team is dedicated to continuous innovation on these complex issues of reverse documentation and code modernization. They explore and design advanced solutions, leveraging the latest techniques in artificial intelligence. These efforts regularly result in prototypes that demonstrate the feasibility and effectiveness of new algorithms.

To enhance these advancements and enrich our offerings, we are launching an AI development internship in Python. You will work within the R&D team, in close collaboration with our experts. You will contribute to the transformation of prototypes into robust and industrializable modules: refactoring scripts, optimizing processing pipelines, continuous integration, packaging, documentation, software robustness, and quality.

Responsibilities

• Functional and Technical Analysis:
  • Take over existing prototypes (Python scripts, frameworks, tools, etc.).
  • Exchange with R&D researchers and engineers to understand needs and target uses.
• Refactoring and Industrialization:
  • Structure and refactor code into testable modules, with attention to quality, performance, and maintainability.
  • Add unit and integration tests.
  • Implement clear technical and user documentation.
• Automation & Integration:
  • Participate in the integration of modules into the overall workflow (APIs, CI/CD pipelines, Docker containers...).
  • Propose scripts or interfaces to facilitate the configuration and execution of analysis tools.
• Research and Prototyping:
  • Contribute to technological research on AI models and AI techniques.
  • Test the contribution of recent libraries or approaches to improve the performance or accuracy of analyses.
• Collaboration and Reporting:
  • Work in an agile mode with the R&D team.
  • Participate in knowledge capitalization through the writing of progress reports and the presentation of results.

Requirements

• Currently in a final year of studies within an engineering school, a Master 2 in computer science, or an equivalent qualification.
• Knowledge in programming and innovative technologies.
• Versatile, creative, with a synthetic and analytical mind.
