About the Company
Intercontrôle, a subsidiary of Framatome, develops and operates custom control solutions for components. These solutions are complex integrated systems, composed of mechanical, electro-technical, electronic, and software modules.
Responsibilities
In this internship, you will be part of the R&D activities and will focus on the control and command of robots and machines used for the inspection of nuclear components. Your main tasks will include:
- Participating in the analysis and improvement of an existing architecture, both hardware and software.
- Developing and implementing trajectory control algorithms for robotic systems.
- Integrating developments into the existing architecture.
- Conducting prototype tests to validate developed solutions.
- Analyzing test results and contributing to the identification of improvement areas.
- Familiarizing yourself with Intercontrôle's tools and technologies: robotic inspections, dimensional controls, alignment, and real-time monitoring.
Requirements
- Final year of an engineering school or equivalent university degree (Bac +5) with a specialization in industrial IT, control-command, mechatronics, robotics, or real-time computing.
- Rigorous, autonomous, and creative with good teamwork and communication skills.
- Intermediate English proficiency.
Technical Skills:
- Knowledge in automation, closed-loop control (PID), robotics, and electronics.
- Proficiency in the Linux environment for development.
- Knowledge of ROS 2.
- Programming skills in Python, C, and/or C++.
- Understanding of systems engineering and real-time systems.
