About the Position

Join Sopra Steria, a leading European tech company, for a 6-month internship in Business Automation in Lille. You will be part of our Business Automation Center of Excellence, working on discovering, optimizing, orchestrating, and automating business processes from concept to deployment and maintenance.

Responsibilities

Understand business processes, stakeholders, pain points, rules, and data.
Model existing processes and propose a simplified, automated, and measurable target.
Design a solution combining robots, workflows, APIs, document processing, AI, and human interventions.
Develop a prototype or minimum viable product and improve it through short iterations.
Define test scenarios, verify result quality, and handle exceptions.
Integrate security, traceability, auditability, and data protection requirements from the design phase.
Document architecture, design choices, operation, and usage conditions.
Present results, value delivered, limitations, and industrialization prospects.

Requirements

You are looking for a 4 to 6-month internship and want to work on issues that blend technology, business processes, and operational value.
You have solid development basics and understand the principles of APIs, data, and application architectures.
You are curious, rigorous, autonomous, and comfortable analyzing a problem before proposing a solution.
You appreciate teamwork, clear documentation, and presenting your results.
Previous experience in RPA, BPMN, generative AI, Process Mining, or document processing is a plus but not mandatory.
You are a final-year engineering student, Master 2 in computer science, data, AI, software engineering, or equivalent.
