About the Position

Join White Oak's conservation team as a Steward, ensuring kitchen cleanliness and organization in our café.

Responsibilities

• Ensures all equipment are clean and in good working order.
• Checks all chemical levels and inventory.
• Wears all PPE according to White Oak standards.
• Reviews Guest Event information.
• Adheres to all sanitation guidelines.
• Assists the Chefs and Servers as necessary.
• Ensures all items and equipment are clean according to sanitation guidelines.
• Maintains a clean and organized work area.
• Monitors proper tank temperatures and chemicals.
• Reports all breakage.
• Completes day-end dishwasher maintenance.
• Cleans all soiled items.
• Assists with garden maintenance.
• Works with beekeeper, as needed.
• Removes trash and recycling.
• Sweeps and mops.
• Cleans, sanitizes and closes workstations.

Requirements

• Cleaning: Ensures all equipment and areas are clean and well-maintained.
• Inventory Management: Checks and maintains chemical levels and inventory.
• PPE Compliance: Wears all required personal protective equipment.
