Responsibilities

• Manage the procurement of radar systems, electronic components, and technical subsystems
• Lead RFQ/RFP processes and negotiate pricing, contracts, and commercial terms with suppliers
• Manage supplier relationships and monitor supplier performance regarding cost, quality, and delivery
• Collaborate closely with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Program Management teams
• Support make-or-buy decisions and contribute to cost optimization initiatives
• Identify and mitigate obsolescence and supply chain risks

Requirements

• Experience in Procurement, Strategic Purchasing, Category Management, or Supplier Management
• Ideally, experience from Aerospace, Defence, Aviation, Electronics, or Radar Systems
• Hands-on experience with supplier selection, RFQ/RFP processes, and contract negotiations
• Understanding of technical products such as electronic components, sensors, antennas, RF technologies, avionics systems, or related equipment
• Comfortable discussing technical requirements with engineering teams
• Experience with SAP MM and/or SAP S/4HANA Procurement
• Fluent in English; German is a plus
