About the Position

Strategic Events Specialist

US-CA-Menlo Park

At Snowflake, we are powering the era of the agentic enterprise. To usher in this new era, we seek AI-native thinkers across every function who are energized by the opportunity to reinvent how they work. You don’t just use tools; you possess an innate curiosity, treating AI as a high-trust collaborator that is core to how you solve problems and accelerate your impact. We look for low-ego individuals who thrive in dynamic and fast-moving environments and move with an experimental mindset - who rapidly test emerging capabilities to discover simpler, more powerful ways to deliver results. At Snowflake, your role isn't just to execute a function, but to help redefine the future of how work gets done.

About the Role

As an Event Specialist, you are responsible for leading the planning, execution, and optimization of Summit, Tour, and Tier 1 tradeshows. The ideal candidate is a strategic, results-driven event professional who takes full ownership of event programs end-to-end - from stakeholder alignment and content development through vendor management and on-site delivery. The candidate should bring strong program management skills, the ability to drive cross-functional teams toward shared outcomes, and a track record of delivering high-impact partner experiences at scale in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

What We Do:

  • Manage end-to-end event workstreams and program areas including venue management, executive programming, expo, public spaces, space planning, F&B, transportation, keynote, and more.
  • Drive event project plans and documentation, maintaining accountability for timelines, milestones, and status reporting across multiple concurrent events.
  • Manage vendor and cross-functional team relationships, overseeing deliverables, contracts, budgets, and proactively mitigating risks and resolving issues.
  • Lead on-site event execution, directing teams across registration, room management, speaker coordination, and real-time problem-solving.
  • Own post-event analysis and reporting, synthesizing data, feedback, and performance metrics to inform leadership decisions and drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • 3 - 5 years of relevant experience in marketing operations, event coordination, or a related discipline.
  • Strong project management, time management, organizational, and execution skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritize effectively across multiple concurrent projects while consistently meeting deadlines.
  • Ability to interact with all levels of internal staff and external contacts with professionalism.
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Marketing, Communications, or a related field, and/or equivalent experience in an events role.

We Offer

Snowflake is growing fast, and we’re scaling our team to help enable and accelerate our growth. We are looking for people who share our values, challenge ordinary thinking, and push the pace of innovation while building a future for themselves and Snowflake.
