About the Position

Strategy & Consulting | Data Engineering

We are looking for a Data Engineering Consultant to join our team at Accenture. This role focuses on designing and implementing scalable ETLs and data pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to understand their business requirements and translate them into data analysis actions.
• Work with experts from various fields such as Data Science, optimization, Machine Learning, simulation, UX, etc.
• Design and implement scalable ETLs and robust data pipelines to ensure data availability and quality.
• Develop and implement data quality checks to ensure data integrity and reliability.
• Interpret client requirements to estimate the time and effort required for task development, considering available data and the impact on existing models.
• Work with various data sources, performing validation, cleaning, and transformation operations to enable their use in analytical or ML models.
• Lead a team of junior profiles, dividing tasks, making modeling decisions, and serving as a technical reference for the team.

Requirements

Must Have:

• Experience with one of the major cloud platforms: AWS or Azure (Preferred). (Mandatory)
• Intermediate/Advanced proficiency in SQL. (Mandatory)
• Intermediate/Advanced proficiency in Python and PySpark, with knowledge of other programming languages such as Java, C#, etc. (Mandatory)
• Professional level of English. (Mandatory)
• Ability to design and implement scalable ETLs.
• Experience with tools such as DBT, Airflow, etc.
• Ability to work with Data Science teams to design the best data structure and pipelines.
• Development and implementation of data quality checks.

Nice To Have:

• Design and creation of AI agents and/or solutions using LLM.
• Familiarity with libraries for data exploration and visualization: pandas, numpy, scikit-learn, Matplotlib, Seaborn, or Pandas Profiling.
• Knowledge of machine learning models: decision tree, Logistic Regression, LGBM, SVM, Neural Networks, Clustering.
• Understanding of the model development process: problem understanding, conceptual model and data model, treatment, cleaning, validation, analysis, and explanation of results (Advanced).
