Job Description, Responsibilities & Requirements
About the Position
We are looking for a Strong Junior/Middle Investment Analyst to support investment decision-making across sourcing, due diligence, portfolio monitoring, and value creation initiatives. In this role, you will work closely with the investment team, founders, and portfolio companies, leveraging analytical rigor and financial expertise to identify opportunities, evaluate businesses, and drive long-term value creation.
Remote | Full-Time
Responsibilities
- Screen inbound and outbound deal flow.
- Build and stress-test financial models for prospective and portfolio companies: unit economics (LTV, CAC, payback, ROAS by channel), cohort and retention analysis, P&L forecasts, and scenario analysis.
- Conduct market due diligence: competitive benchmarking; sizing of addressable markets; reverse-engineering of competitor unit economics.
- Support due diligence workstreams on assigned deals - data room management, DD checklist execution, and the written DD report.
- Prepare clear, concise investment memos and supporting materials for Investment Committee discussions.
- Track KPIs across portfolio companies, maintain reporting dashboards, and produce weekly flash updates and monthly portfolio reviews.
- Support portfolio companies on specific value-add projects (pricing experiments, expansion modeling) as directed by the investment team.
- Maintain pipeline hygiene; support sourcing through outbound outreach, proactive network engagement, and conference follow-up.
- Draft and review LOIs, term sheets, SHAs, and SPAs against precedents, under senior team supervision, flagging deviations for counsel.
- Proactively suggest improvements to the fund's strategy, deal flow processes, decision frameworks, and internal tooling.
Requirements
- Less than 1 year/over 1 year of experience in Big-4 corporate finance, investment banking, private equity / venture capital, management consulting, or a strategy / finance role at a strong product or tech company.
- Economics, finance, or related degree from a top-tier Ukrainian or foreign university, or equivalent demonstrated analytical track record.
- Fluent English, written and spoken.
- Strong Excel / Google Sheets modeling skills - comfortable building models from scratch and maintaining existing ones.
- Familiarity with subscription and product-IT unit economics: LTV, CAC, ROAS, payback, MRR / ARR, retention cohorts, churn, and the underlying mechanics of mobile and web subscription businesses.
- Structured thinking and the ability to make data-driven decisions - able to interpret data correctly and recognize when a number is misleading.
- Strong written and verbal communication; comfortable holding a position under pressure and constructively challenging founders and senior stakeholders when the data supports it.
- Proactive self-starter with a track record of initiating and executing improvements, not just completing assigned tasks.
- Discretion and ability to handle confidential information appropriately.
Nice to Have
- Working knowledge of SQL, or willingness to learn within the first 6 months.
- Direct experience at a B2C subscription product company.
- Familiarity with the analytics and attribution stack: Amplitude, AppsFlyer / Adjust, RevenueCat, Stripe.
We Offer
- 28 business days of paid off.
- Flexible hours and the possibility to work remotely.
- Medical insurance and mental health care.
- Compensation for courses, trainings.
- English classes and speaking clubs.
- Internal library, educational events.
- Outstanding corporate parties, teambuildings.
