About the Position
We are seeking a Sub-System Technical Leader (SSTL) – Automotive Seating to ensure Quality / Cost / Delivery / Performance (QCDP) convergence within the project scope and to lead the development activities of seating components.
Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams and coordinate all contributors involved in the project
- Ensure consistency between technical and project schedules
- Negotiate QCDP targets with project stakeholders
- Manage supplier consultations and contribute to supplier selection
- Ensure design and development compliance with QCDP objectives
- Drive technical convergence with internal teams and suppliers
- Provide regular reporting and manage action plans in case of deviations
- Escalate critical issues to decision-making bodies
- Contribute to lessons learned and improvement of engineering standards
- Support cost optimization initiatives during development and serial life
Requirements
- Education: Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
- Experience: 3 to 5 years in automotive seating development
- Experience in OEM or Tier-1 environment is a plus
Technical Skills
Strong knowledge of:
- Automotive engineering
- Mechanics and plastics processing
- Stamping and body-in-white processes
Proficiency with:
- CATIA
- PLM tools
- Good understanding of QCDP requirements
Languages
- English: Minimum B2 level (ability to lead meetings in an international environment)
Soft Skills
- Strong analytical and synthesis skills
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
