Supervisor de Control y Red Industrial

About the Position

This role involves overseeing the operation and maintenance of hydroelectric plants and leading the technical team to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable asset management.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the operation and maintenance activities of hydroelectric plants.
• Contribute to the monitoring of critical spare parts availability.
• Ensure plant operations comply with technical standards for electricity supply quality (NTCSE _ PR 304).
• Support and supervise the correct implementation of the 5S methodology and HSS guidelines in facilities.
• Act as the “Plant Owner” for the designated plant, managing timely attention to relevant plant aspects.

Requirements

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.

Specialization:

• Mechatronics, Electronics, and related fields.

Knowledge:

• Solid knowledge of hydroelectric plant operation and maintenance.
• Solid knowledge of maintenance software (SAP).
• Solid knowledge of electrical protections, instrumentation, control, and automation applied to energy generation systems.
• Solid knowledge of databases, controllers, voltage and speed regulators, and SCADA systems.
• Project management knowledge.
• Knowledge of the electricity sector regulation.
• English proficiency.
• Defensive driving (Must have a driver's license for at least 4 years).

Experience:

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in similar roles in power generation companies.
