About the Role

As a Supervisor within our Inbound Operations team, you will be responsible for leading daily warehouse activities while creating an inclusive, supportive, and high-performing environment for a diverse workforce. You will oversee inbound processes, coordinate operational priorities, and ensure goods are received, processed, and stored accurately, safely, and efficiently. This role combines people leadership with operational excellence.

Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate inbound warehouse operations to ensure productivity, quality, safety, and service targets are achieved.
Manage, coach, and support a team of approximately 25 employees per shift, creating an environment where people feel valued, engaged, and supported to grow.
Communicate operational priorities, company policies, and process changes clearly and effectively to a multicultural workforce.
Build strong working relationships across teams and adapt communication styles to suit different audiences, situations, and cultural backgrounds.
Actively resolve operational and people-related challenges, using a constructive and solution-focused approach.
Monitor and analyze KPIs, operational reports, and performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.
Utilize WMS, reporting tools, Microsoft Excel, and digital collaboration platforms to support decision-making and operational efficiency.
Collaborate with Operations, HR, Planning, and other departments to ensure smooth workflow and effective communication.
Support employee development, succession planning, onboarding, and performance improvement initiatives.
Take ownership of improvement opportunities, proactively identifying solutions and driving actions rather than waiting for direction.
Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance quality, productivity, service levels, and employee engagement.
Provide leadership coverage and operational support when required to ensure business continuity.

Requirements

Experience leading people within a warehouse, logistics, transport, distribution, manufacturing, or similar operational environment.
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage, influence, coach, and adapt your approach to different individuals, teams, and cultural backgrounds.
Experience working with operational KPIs, reporting tools, warehouse management systems, and Microsoft Excel to support performance management.
A proactive mindset with the confidence to take initiative, solve problems, and drive improvements independently.
