Supplies Officer

About the Position

We are seeking a Supplies Officer with SAP experience and manual handling skills for a contract role in County Kilkenny, Ireland. This role involves managing stock at the point of use, utilizing scanning systems to requisition stock, and maintaining strict replenishment schedules.

Responsibilities

• Work in Point of Use as required by your Supervisor or Line Manager where you will be assigned to scanning and/or replenishing of stock.
• Work in Goods inwards as required by your Supervisor or Line Manager where you will be assigned to unloading deliveries and distributing of cages.
• Use of Barcode scanning system to reserve stock.
• Maintenance of inventory storage systems.
• Participation in regular point of use audits.
• Utilise ICT Procurement Systems (Punch-out and SAP systems) to ensure efficiencies in service delivery.
• To assist line manager in the performance of his/her duties and to carry out such other duties as may be assigned to him/her.
• Implement new systems as directed by Line Manager and co-operate with the introduction and use of new technology and practices.
• Extensive use of Microsoft Office i.e. Outlook, Word & Excel.
• Ensure deadlines are met and that service levels are maintained.

Requirements

• SAP experience
• Manual Handling
• Minimum 2 years experience in a similar environment.

We Offer

• Competitive hourly rate of €18.00-€19.00.
• Contract role with a weekly schedule of 35 hours from Monday to Friday.
