Job description
Supply Chain Operations and Applications Manager (f/m/x)
About the Position
IONITY is seeking a Supply Chain Operations and Applications Manager to lead and optimize our Supply Chain processes, based in Munich. Join our Network Operations team as Supply Chain Operations and Applications Manager, reporting to the Teamlead Supply Chain. Network Operations is building a smart, lean, and high-performing organization to operate, manage, and scale IONITY's high-power EV charging network, and this role sits at the center of that work.
In the first year, your main priority is to co-lead the Supply Chain workstreams of IONITY's SAP restructuring project together with Supply Chain leadership and business stakeholders. After the project, you will own the Supply Chain processes and key applications, including the Spare Part App and Asset App, as well as the asset management activities that sit behind them. The role creates value by making Supply Chain processes simpler, more reliable, and better connected to Finance and Operations, so the network runs on trustworthy data and efficient daily operations.
Responsibilities
- Co-lead the Supply Chain workstream of the SAP restructuring project, defining requirements, coordinating work packages and milestones, and driving decisions with IT, Finance, Operations, and Procurement.
- Analyze existing SAP processes, master data, and interfaces, and design a simpler, standardized, and sustainable target setup for Supply Chain processes.
- Lead the design, configuration, testing, user acceptance, data validation, cutover, and go-live preparation of the new SAP setup, supported by clear documentation and change management.
- Act as business owner and key contact for Supply Chain functionality in SAP, the Spare Part App, and the Asset App, translating requirements into system requirements, user stories, and prioritized enhancements.
- Establish a stable operating model for Supply Chain SAP processes after go-live, ensuring consistent interfaces and data flows with other Supply Chain applications and providing user guidance and training.
- Coordinate asset management processes across the Supply Chain organization, ensuring accurate asset master data, timely asset postings and transfers, and support for audits, stock counts, and reconciliations.
- Analyze Supply Chain processes and data to identify inefficiencies and risks, then develop and implement practical, scalable improvements that keep data quality high across SAP and related tools.
Requirements
- University degree or comparable qualification in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Proven experience in SAP implementation, restructuring, or process optimization projects, including leading SAP workstreams and cross-functional teams.
- Solid understanding of supply chain processes, including spare parts, inventory, logistics, and asset management, and a basic grasp of finance-related processes.
- Hands-on SAP process knowledge and system ownership, with the willingness to carry out day-to-day Supply Chain activities and SAP postings personally when required.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, a structured, self-driven approach, and excellent communication and stakeholder management skills in spoken and written English.
Nice to Have
- German language skills.
- Experience with Power BI or similar reporting tools, and very good Microsoft Excel skills.
- Experience in the e-mobility, automotive, energy, or infrastructure sector.
We Offer
- Opportunity to be part of an international team.
- Work in a cutting-edge field of electric mobility.
- Competitive salary and benefits.
