About the Position
ELEKS Software Engineering and Development Office is looking for a part-time/full-time Support Go Developer in Argentina.
About the Project
The project focuses on building modern developer tools for industrial automation – providing Git-based source control for PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems used in manufacturing.
Responsibilities
- Investigate and resolve L3 support tickets across Go, Rust, and TypeScript codebases
- Onboard new clients onto the client’s platform, handling configuration and integration setup
- Build and maintain third-party integrations connecting vendor toolchains to client’s source-control engine
- Apply bug fixes, patches, and performance optimizations to production services
- Support the maintenance of platform’s existing stable client base, ensuring reliability and continuity
- Document issue resolutions, integration quirks, and operational runbooks for the team
- Collaborate with client’s internal engineering team to escalate and resolve complex platform issues
Requirements
- 4+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Proficiency in Go – primary language of the platform (~50% of daily work)
- Working knowledge of Rust and TypeScript
- Experience with Python for scripting, tooling, or automation tasks
- Ability to investigate, reproduce, and resolve bugs across backend services and integrations
- Experience working with REST APIs and third-party integrations
- Comfort working in hybrid cloud environments (Azure and AWS)
- Strong written and verbal communication in English (Upper-Intermediate+ level)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision across time zones
