Support Go Developer

About the Position

ELEKS Software Engineering and Development Office is looking for a Support Go Developer in Ukraine.

About the Project

The project focuses on building modern developer tools for industrial automation – providing Git-based source control for PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems used in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and resolve L3 support tickets across Go and React codebases
• Onboard new clients onto the client’s platform, handling configuration and integration setup
• Build and maintain third-party integrations connecting vendor toolchains to client’s source-control engine
• Apply bug fixes, patches, and performance optimizations to production services
• Support the maintenance of platform’s existing stable client base, ensuring reliability and continuity
• Document issue resolutions, integration quirks, and operational runbooks for the team
• Collaborate with client’s internal engineering team to escalate and resolve complex platform issues

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Proficiency in Go – primary language of the platform
• Working knowledge of React
• Experience with Python for scripting, tooling, or automation tasks
• Ability to investigate, reproduce, and resolve bugs across backend services and integrations
• Experience working with REST APIs and third-party integrations
• Experience working with Azure
• Strong written and verbal communication in English (Upper-Intermediate+ level)
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
