About the Position

Support Specialist - Image Guided Surgery (IGS) / Scandinavia

We are seeking a highly motivated Support Specialist in the field of Image Guided Surgery / Digital OR and Imaging covering our installed base in hospitals in Scandinavia. The position will be reporting directly to the Regional Manager and you will be based from your home office.

Responsibilities

  • Perform installations, preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs of products
  • Execute SW and HW updates or upgrades
  • Perform product verifications and calibrations
  • Perform routine troubleshooting and root cause analysis
  • Read, analyze, interpret/arrange network diagrams, schematics, and wiring diagrams
  • Complete every installation or service assignment efficiently and in a timely manner
  • Keep customer up-to-date regarding their requests and minimize downtime
  • Establish a professional and robust customer relationship
  • Instruct and educate customer and staff in proper use of products and services
  • Perform and document all mandatory administrative tasks accurately according to Brainlab policies in a timely manner
  • Actively live the team approach on a regional and European level
  • Keep up to date with assigned trainings, re-trainings, and certifications
  • Keep abreast of developments regarding Brainlab and competitive products and services
  • Deliver high-level customer service

Requirements

  • Preferably, you have completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering/Technology, Medical Technology, or a technical or IT-related degree, or you are equivalent through experience.
  • Self-planning, organization, and implementation of all service activities
  • Adapt in working as part of a team or individually
  • Willingness to travel within the Scandinavian region and abroad
  • Fluent in one of the Scandinavian languages (Swedish/Danish/Norwegian). Knowledge in Finnish will be considered a plus
  • Knowledge of IT-networks and server environments is also a big plus
