System administrator / NOC engineer

Common tasks:

• Administration, setup, and monitoring of network equipment, servers, services, and data channels;
• Customer consultation and support;
• Mastering and implementing new technologies.

• Administration, setup, and monitoring of network equipment, servers, services, and data channels.
• Customer consultation and support.
• Mastering and implementing new technologies.

Requirements

• Deep knowledge of UNIX-like operating systems (Linux, FreeBSD);
• Web-technologies and products: Apache, PHO, Perl, MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.;
• Data transfer technologies (Ethernet, TCP/IP), IP-addressing, and routing;
• Protocols (POP3, SMTP, IMAP) and mail receiving/transferring systems (Sendmail, Exim, Procmail);
• DNS principles;
• Previous work experience in internet-providers (web-hosting specified): 3 years;
• Setting up network equipment, servers on UNIX-like operating systems;
• Ability to quickly learn, interest, and skills for mastering new knowledge;
• Ability to work in a team, diligence;
• Languages: Russian, Ukrainian, Tech English.
