System Analyst / Junior System Analyst - Tieto Banktech (m/f/d)

About the Position

We are looking for a System Analyst / Junior System Analyst to join our team in Rīga, Latvia at Tieto Banktech.

Responsibilities

• Communicate and translate business ideas and requests into clear, implementable requirements
• Describe specific scenarios, constraints, and limitations, and system logic
• Work with developers to find the right balance between possibilities and limitations
• Define and document system behavior (flows, logic, integrations)
• Participate in decision-making as a co-author, not just a translator
• Work with the FINS financial accounting product: configure it, including accounting specifics
• Validate system functionality

Requirements

• University degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
• Basic knowledge of finance/accounting, understanding of payroll/bookkeeping
• Ability to produce clear, structured system documentation (requirements, process flows, specifications)
• SQL skills
• Good English and Latvian language knowledge
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Nice to Have

• Experience with Linux/Unix
• Proven experience in information systems development
• Knowledge of banking, cards, or payment systems
• Strong analytical skills and willingness to drive team success
• Programming knowledge and experience
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

*Monthly salary offer will be defined based upon the candidate’s professional competence compliance with job demands.
