About the Position
We are seeking a System Architect for our MilTech team in Kyiv, Ukraine, to design and optimize IT architecture for high performance and scalability.
Responsibilities
- Project Design: Develop high-level architecture (HLD) for new systems and optimize current architecture for performance, scalability, and resilience.
- Technology Selection: Analyze the market, choose solutions, test (PoC - Proof of Concept), and approve the technology stack, frameworks, cloud services, and third-party integrations.
- Management and Monitoring: Plan license volumes and control their usage.
- Technical Supervision: Conduct Architecture Review, Documentation: Create and maintain operational and technical documentation.
- Stakeholder Interaction: Communicate with business stakeholders (CEO, Product Owners), translate business needs into technical language, and justify budgets or technical decisions from a business value perspective.
Requirements
- Over 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Designed and implemented systems for medium to large enterprises from scratch (architecture design, hardware selection, setup, proactive monitoring, troubleshooting).
- Experience in improving Enterprise architecture management processes and developing architectural solutions.
- Experience in selecting architectural patterns and technology stacks during the development of architectural solutions.
- Knowledge of SOA and Microservices architecture, interaction styles, business logic execution, and distributed transactions. Event-driven architecture.
- Ability to analyze the current state of the IT landscape. Assessment of business process, application, data, and infrastructure architecture. Formation of a target Enterprise architecture for IT Strategy.
- Experience in developing an IT Strategy implementation roadmap.
- Knowledge of information security principles (ISB triad) and their application in design. Understanding of ISO 27001 requirements.
- Experience with systems (Zabbix, ELK, SIEM).
